Megan was born by emergency c-section due to face presentation. Megan was 10 lbs 2 oz and 22 3/4 inches long. Megan was hard to soothe and was always hungry. Megan didn’t crawl but scooted on her butt. Megan was slow to start talking and needed speech therapy. Megan had teeth at 3 1/2 months old. Megan suffered ear aches constantly starting at 3 months old and had tubes put in 2 times and her adenoids out. Megan was slow to reach milestones and was slow at learning in school.

Megan’s behavioral issues increased as she got older and found it more difficult to communicate. By middle school the differences became more pronounced. The doctors didn’t diagnose Megan as a child. They believed all the issues were explained by speech delay due to hearing loss, behavioral issues due to both speech and hearing. Learning problems were dismissed as related to speech and hearing. Megan was finally diagnosed with OCD, anxiety, depression, ADHD, DMDD, autism like symptoms, mild intellectual disability, cysts on the back of her head, lesions on the brain, and sensory processing disorder. Megan is ambidextrous, and has extreme flexibility. Megan was diagnosed with macrocephaly and overgrowth and now TBRS and scoliosis in the neck.

She is funny, artistic, clingy, and a great artist. She loves animals and baking and remembers facts and details.
