TBRS Community hosted its very first annual USA conference for families and loved ones diagnosed with Tatton Brown Rahman Syndrome. The conference was held at The Rocking Horse Ranch, in Highland, New York from September 21-23, 2018. The mission of the conference was to enable families to have community, while learning about TBRS and getting to meet from Dr. Tatton-Brown herself.
The event was a success with 21 families attending the conference. Most stayed onsite at The Rocking Horse Ranch and enjoyed the beautiful grounds and countless activities, while a few came in for the day on Saturday to attend the conference.
Adyen Isaacs was diagnosed with TBRS in April of 2015. Gardner Elementary, where Adyen attended, honored him by raising awareness for Tatton Brown Rahman Syndrome and funds for The TBRS Community by allowing the staff and students to give $1 to dress in costume. As Ayden’s favorite holiday is Halloween this was a perfect celebration!
